Great soundtrack, but the movie...much like alot of other recent Hollywood disasters...they were afraid of their source material. The original was all about hacking, nerd stuff and computer design. Every person inside the machine had a purpose or a job.

Now...they just wander around in the rain (which in the other movie it was energy) and no one had a job or a purpose. There isn’t a guy who is an Insurance Program struggling to survive.

It made no sense and was likely the deathnote of Tron.
